Last Thursday afternoon we walked down to Uncle Erkel's chocolate factory.
Steve met us out the front and told us what ingredients he uses to make chocolate. He was making chocolate chips so we were very excited to see the process.
He told us all about making chocolate then we were allowed to test it at the end of the tour.YUM!!
Charlie said " It was delicious"
Paige loved the gorgeous smell. She really loved the visit -especially the tasting.
There were no oompa loompas there- Steve had only one person to help him.Lots of children want to work with Steve at the factory when they get older.
I definitely know that the chocolate tastes good from Uncle Erkels. I am sad that I have almost run out of it home.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a fantastic place to visit. I didn't know they were so close to home. Its wonderful having great companies in our area that you can do field trips to. I bet you were all pleased to get a sample of the chocolate at the end of the trip.
