We read a story about weaving and we wanted to have a go at it. So we got a piece of cardboard and some strips of paper and we followed the instructions in the book. We think that we did a very good job at following what we read. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteWe are a Year 3 and 4 class too. We think your weaving is very colourful and interesting. We like the patterns. It has inspired us to want to do some weaving too.

I remember doing this at my catholic primary school in Timaru many years ago. We then took the skills we learnt and did flax weaving and made little mats. I still have mine at home after all these years. Well done, they look amazing!
